Civil Wedding in Singapore (Philippine Embassy)

After 5 years of being in a relationship, I'm finally getting married!
11.11.16 the happiest day of my life. I'm transitioning to being single to being married. My engagement ring is from Venus Tears (Jurong East Branch).

Like all couples do, we had our pre-nuptial photo shoot. Our friend, Louie who’s an IT professional and his hobby is photography offered us free photo shoot. Since we are on a budget, we gladly agree. The hair and make-up is from a small salon in Lucky Plaza (a shopping mall for Filipinos in Singapore) which happened to be owned by one of my colleagues.  They also do the hair and make-up for our wedding.

Everything happens so fast that lead us on getting married in two months’ time.  Since we’re both working in Singapore and we want a simple wedding, we agreed to do the civil wedding in Singapore in the Philippine Embassy Office.  This will save us a lot of time and money since we need to register in Philippines and update our working pass in Singapore. We have chosen the best date (11.11.16). Civil ceremony in the Philippine Embassy takes place only during  Friday, most of our colleagues and friends we’re not able to make it for the main reason that they can't spare one day off from their works. So we decided to have two celebrations, one reception right after the civil ceremony at Plonk on Maju (Serangoon Gardens) and the other one was at Woodlands Street 82 (below the HDB) the following Sunday.
